BIG NEWS FOR ANIMAL FOODBANK UK
Today is a truly monumental day for Animal FoodBank UK .
As Co-Founders, Anita and Rob, this is something we have dreamed of for the past couple of years. We had a vision of one day having our own charity van — something that would help us grow, reach more people, move more food, and support more pets and their families across the UK.
If we are honest, we never truly thought we would achieve it.
But today, that dream has become a reality.
We want to say the biggest and most heartfelt thank you to Pets Foundation , who have fully funded this van for Animal FoodBank UK. Their support means more than we can put into words. The fact that they believed in what we do, believed in our mission, and believed in the difference this charity makes is something we will never forget.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
This van is not just a vehicle to us — it is a huge step forward for Animal FoodBank UK and for the future of the charity.
It will help us to:
reach more volunteers
distribute food further afield
move stock around the country more efficiently
support more pets and families in crisis
raise awareness and visibility for the charity wherever we go
This is absolutely huge for us, and it will make such a difference to how we operate going forward.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to Renault Hanley, for supplying the van, and a massive thank you to Adam at @Enfield Detailing & Wraps, Redditch for the amazing artwork and wrap. You have done an incredible job and brought our vision to life beautifully.
To all of our volunteers, supporters, donors, and everyone who has stood by us and believed in Animal FoodBank UK — thank you. This moment is one we are so proud of, and one we wanted to share with all of you.
This is more than just a van.
This is hope.
This is growth.
This is visibility.
This is the next chapter for Animal FoodBank UK.
And we are so incredibly grateful.
With love and thanks,
Co-Founders Anita Hughes-Arthur and Robert Miller
and Trustees Rebecca Harrison and Mel Beer
