Animal FoodBank UK works across England, Scotland and Wales, providing emergency pet food support to people experiencing financial hardship.
We welcome opportunities to work with manufacturers, brands, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and other businesses across the pet industry. Whether you have products to donate, surplus stock, samples, end-of-line products, or would simply like to explore a partnership with us, we would love to hear from you.
Product Donations
We welcome suitable donations of pet food, treats and pet supplies from manufacturers, brands, distributors, wholesalers and retailers.
Donations can range from individual cartons to pallets and larger quantities. Our volunteer network, distribution hubs and transport arrangements help us move donated products to where they are most needed.
Surplus, Short-Dated & End-of-Line Stock
Perfectly usable pet products can sometimes become difficult for businesses to sell because of short dates, packaging changes, discontinued ranges, excess stock or other commercial reasons.
Where products remain safe and suitable for use, Animal FoodBank UK may be able to give them a second purpose — helping reduce unnecessary waste while supporting pets and families experiencing financial hardship.
Samples & Promotional Products
Have samples, promotional packs or products left over from a launch, campaign, exhibition or promotion? Suitable products may be useful within our emergency food parcels, community distribution work and events.
Please contact us before sending products so we can confirm they are suitable and discuss the best way for us to receive them.

Our Reach
Animal FoodBank UK supports households across England, Scotland and Wales through our nationwide volunteer network, local community support, distribution hubs, partner locations and postal support where no local volunteer is available.
Our Impact
Since Animal FoodBank UK began in December 2022, we have provided more than 176,000 pet meals to animals whose owners were experiencing financial hardship. Every donation helps us continue providing practical support to pets and the people who love them.

Cat Show Live 2026
We attended Cat Show Live at the NEC Birmingham in September 2026, where we met pet brands, suppliers, creators and supporters from across the industry. It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce people to Animal FoodBank UK and start new conversations about working together.
PATS 2026
We’ll be attending PATS 2026 at the NEC Birmingham from 27–29 September, giving us the chance to meet manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, retailers and other organisations from across the pet industry. We’re looking forward to introducing more people to our work and exploring new partnerships that could help us support even more pets and families.

Pet Food We Can Accept
We can accept suitable dog, cat and small animal food, including dry food, wet food and treats. We can also consider short-dated, end-of-line and surplus stock, provided products are sealed, safe and suitable for use.

Other Pet Supplies
We can also consider suitable pet supplies such as bowls, leads, collars, harnesses, bedding, toys and selected accessories. Please contact us first if you are unsure whether a particular product is suitable.

What We Can’t Accept
We cannot accept unsafe or contaminated products, raw or frozen pet food, or anything that is no longer suitable for use. Products with damaged outer packaging may still be considered where the food itself remains sealed and safe. If you’re unsure, please contact us first.

Larger Donations & Pallets
If you have larger quantities of stock available, please get in touch with details such as the product type, approximate quantity, best-before dates, collection location, pallet or carton quantities and any collection deadline. We can then discuss the most practical way of receiving and distributing the donation.
